A show with a Muslim backdrop is rare on Indian television. And Zee TV’s last show on the same was Qubool Hai, which instantly had become a hit among the viewers!
Colors’ Beintehaa, Sony’s Humsafars with the same backdrop also were quite popular among the viewers.
However, after a gap of quite a few years Zee TV is again going to launch another show on the channel with Muslim backdrop.
Creative Eye’s Ishq Subhan Allah’s first promo definitely looks intriguing as it focuses on two principled people having different mindsets with regards to religion.
The promo shows how four Muslim girls try to find a safe shelter owing to the sudden riot conditions in the city. They seek shelter in a Mosque. The man at the door of the Mosque is told that all four of them are Muslims and he immediately lets them in.
However, one of the four girls later turn out to be a Hindu and the guy confronts for being lied in a Masjid. However, the main woman among the four sticks to her principle and defends herself saying lying to save someone’s life isn’t wrong.

But the man doesn’t agree with her and clash of two principles, a moderate one and another strict takes place.
We would say Ishq Subhan Allah should definitely be in your watch list as it would be something fresh to watch out for, at least initially.
As per reports, the show deals with the controversial topic of ‘triple talaaq’, which again reminds us of the core concept of Colors’ Beintehaa, that aired back in 2014.
The show also marks the comeback of Eisha Singh, who was earlier seen on Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani and Colors’ Ishq Ka Rang Safed.
