Zee TV to air Indian edition of ‘I Can Do That’

Zee TV is gearing up to air the Indian edition of the international format ‘I Can Do That’. Developed by Israel’s Armoza Formats, the reality show has done well across Russia, China, Spain, Brazil and Mexico.
Zee TV has not revealed the date and time slot of the upcoming show. The channel currently airs dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ on weekends, which will culminate in September 2015.
The format will have 12 popular celebrities from different walks of life step out of their comfort zones and perform never-seen-before entertaining acts. The show will challenge them to outdo each other in a wide range of tasks, from intricate dance choreography to magic and illusion. from flair bartending to daredevil stunts and much more.
Actor, singer, writer and director Farhan Akhtar has been roped in as host for the show in India. The host will be an integral part of the show, playing the role of a friend, confidant and motivator to the celebrities. He will not just be a presenter, but also a binding force between the audience and the celebrities.
The show will mark Akhtar’s return to television. He had earlier hosted ‘Oye! It’s Friday’ on Imagine and was a judge on celebrity dance reality show, ‘Nach Baliye Season 5’.
