The actor talks about the scenes that caused him grief off-screen as well…
It is said that a character is always bigger than an actor on television! But, what does it take for a TV actor to effortlessly slip into the skin of a character, many don’t know.
Setting the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry in Ishq Subhan Allah, Kabeer (Adnan Khan) and Zara (Eisha Singh) share a complex relationship. Unexpected twists and turns constantly leave their relationship hanging on to a delicate thread of love.
In the upcoming episodes of the show, the viewers will witness a drastic turn of events where Kabeer will see Zara’s car blowing up in a bomb-blast leading to her death.
The incident leaves Kabeer devastated as he is in denial that Zara is indeed gone forever.
Heartthrob Adnan Khan seems to be pushing the envelope and putting in a lot of effort to bring alive the emotional side of his on-screen character. Adnan, who swears by the mantra of bringing a bit of realism to any role that he plays, was highly impacted by Zara’s death sequence.
Very few people know that Adnan avoids using glycerine while shooting for an emotional sequence as he naturally gets into the skin of the character to bring alive the emotions for real. For the recent episodes, the actor had to shoot back to back emotional sequences and it took a toll on him.
Actor Adnan Khan said, “Kabeer’s character has always had a very stern and strict outlook towards life. While shooting for Zara’s death sequence, I felt a rush of emotions as Kabeer is grief-stricken and left heartbroken. All of sudden, I had to bring out my most serious side, which took a lot of effort. Owing to the taxing emotional sequences, I became very silent for a few days before I got back to being my normal self. But eventually, the scene came out really well and I just hope that I managed doing justice to it.”
Now isn’t that intense?
