The episode starts with Goenka Villa all set to witness the marriage of Samarth and Gayu. Everyone is ready to see the lovely couple getting married, but before the ceremony, Dadi wishes to do something that is long overdue.
Dadi, who had been protecting her younger brother Purushottam Ajmera (Puru) all this while, decides to expose him and punish him for his misdeeds. Dadi removes his headgear (pagdi, a symbol of dignity and pride for the men), saying he doesn’t deserve respect.
Everyone is shocked to see Dadi taking such a drastic step, wondering why is such treatment meted to Puru. Dadi asks Naira to narrate Puru’s misdeeds and show the video clip where he confesses to misbehaving with Mansi and other women.
Kartik joins Naira in exposing Puru, and they call the police to get him arrested. Surekha and Akhil, parents of Mansi, fume with anger after knowing what Puru did to their daughter. Akhil roughs up Puru for inappropriately touching his daughter, and Surekha cries uncontrollably.
Ila, Puru’s only daughter, is shocked to know about her father’s real character. She feels ashamed of him and confronts him for doing injustice to other women. She questions his integrity and asks if he took advantage of women in the name of helping them.
Ila burns one of her photographs with her father and states that he is dead for her. After the police arrest Puru and take him away, Ila breaks down. Naira and Kartik console her while she feels guilty and ashamed of being Puru’s daughter.
Later, she apologises to Naira for thinking she was trying to implicate her father falsely of misconduct. Naira comforts Ila and asks her not to feel guilty because it is not her fault.
