When REEL sickness turned REAL on the sets of ‘Laado 2’

A rather unanticipated instance..
Injuries and sickness are a part and parcel of an actor’s life, and one cannot do anything to completely eradicate the possibilities of the same, can we? But all that sounds fine and merry, till we learn about a particular injury or sickness going on to be hazardous enough that can damage the particular actor’s career later.
Fortunately, that is not the case for actor, Siddharth Arora who currently plays the lead role in Colors’ Laado 2. And infact, there is a sense of fun and coincidence attached to Siddharth’s case here.
It so happened that one of the sequences required Siddharth to shoot fully drenched in rain and then continue the same in sunrise. So, owing to being drenched in water and standing in the sun and then later be in a vanity van, which is air-conditioned, the actor was contracted with cold and fever.
But, as they do not have a bank of episodes, Siddharth had to continue shooting and not take rest. Funnily, the current track in the show follows Avika Gor taking care of his character, who is ill and is cursing him back to better health by providing him with medicine and putting wet cloth on his forehead etc. So, while this is for the reel life, it has certainly helped Siddharth feel better in real life too.
We hope Siddharth recovers at the soonest.
