Karan Mehra gets poignant with the success of Star Plus longest running show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ completion of more than 2000 episodes…

With the recent completion of 2000 episodes, Karan Mehra aka Naitik from ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ feels blessed to be a part of such a great show. He gets candid with us and talks about his long way journey throughout the show.

Karan Mehra started by thanking the audience who made Naitik and Akshara household names. He expressed, “I think we got used to our audience as they got used to us. The kind of bond that we share after 2000 episodes says it all. The love of fans has kept us going. If they would have lost faith in us, I don’t think the show would have survived. I think Naitik and Akshara (Hina Khan) both have been widely accepted not only in India but all over the world. Everybody knows them now; they have become common household names. Everybody have made them a part of their busy life, like we have become part of their dinner so that means a lot to us. Also as we feel the sense of importance over the years by all taking their half an hour of life.”

Karan also spoke about feeling proud to be part of the show. “It’s a great sense of achievement and this could not have been possible without the hardwork of the entire team starting from the channel, producer and everybody who belongs to ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. And I feel really blessed to be a part of such brilliant team and an amazing show.”
