None other than actor Nivaan Sen will be playing the role and what makes is special is that Sen is actually making his return to the small screen after almost seven years.
With Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin continuing to do wonders on the TRP charts, the makers are making sure that that interest and eyeballs surrounding the show continue to remain the same and at the same time also do wonders as much. One of the sureshot ways to do that is keep coming up with new tracks and hence – new entries.
That is what will be happening in the show as Virat’s (Neil Bhatt) will be making an entry into the show. And none other than actor Nivaan Sen will be playing the role and what makes is special is that Sen is actually making his return to the small screen after almost seven years. That’s right.
Talking about it with ETimes TV, Sen said, I play Sahil and I call him a rebel. His set of values and ideologies are quite different. It’s a layered character and isn’t easy to play. So, I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into this character.”
Sen was last seen in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…Meetha Meetha…Pyaara Pyaara… and when asked about this long break, he said, “It wasn’t a conscious decision to stay away from the television. I am what I am because of the small screen. I started my career with Cinestars Ki Khoj. After PKDHMMPP, I bagged a film, but it took a long time to complete. I had expected things to turn out differently and more offers to materialise but it wasn’t meant to be. Also, I got busy with setting up a production house.”
He added, “I did try to get back to TV in between and kept giving auditions but nothing worked out. Then the pandemic struck. Ups and downs are a part of an actor’s life and I believe that everything happens at the right time. Even after enjoying a successful run, an actor can hit a rough patch overnight and be out of work. Success and failure come with an expiry date but that doesn’t mean the phase will not repeat. Besides luck, hard work and diligence, the most important virtue is patience. If you are patient and persistent, you will go a long way. So, these six years were difficult but I am happy to be back finally.”
We are sure the fans of GHKKPM would be excited to see the actor make his return and his role as Virat’s best friend.
