Unraveled: The Karan Patel-Media standoff controversy
Share this post
Alert!!! Karan Patel is in news. The man of the moment, who is stunning one and all with his impressive performance in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms), is known to be a tad moody in real life.
Now, a recent media report suggested that Karan turned up late on the set of the above show during one of the shoots which included Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor for Finding Fanny movie promotions.
Ultimately, he could not shoot with the Bollywood stars thus setting alarm in the creative department. They had to trigger a late brain rush to bring in last minute script changes.
The story doesn’t end here. When Karan was asked on the reason for his late appearance on the floor, he allegedly blamed the media for the delay.
Thus conjectures started floating about Karan’s unwillingness to meet the media on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
To get clarity on the entire issue, we thought of checking with the man himself.
These are the words of charismatic Karan: “There is no animosity between me and the media. It’s just that I am not too comfortable with lot of people being around while I enact intense scenes. I have no issue if the media comes and does its job and I am also very open to giving video bytes.”
Later, we also received a sms from the Star Plus communication team stating: “As far as Karan Patel’s media bytes are concerned, it depends solely on his mood that day. Rest all is well. Thank you.”
So all you media folks out there, mood dekhke interview lena!!!
