Unhappy Teena Chopra to quit Ek Hasina Thi?

For most actors, getting cast in an iconic, career-making role is nothing short of a dream come true. But what happens when the character does not progress in the story and is left ignored?

We are talking about the talented Teena Chopra who marked her debut with Star Plus show, Ek Hasina Thi (Cinevistaas Limited) and enchanted the audience essaying a traumatized woman. Now we hear that the actor has some issue with regards to her character in the show.

A source informed us, “Teena is contemplating on quitting the show.”

But why?

“The brief given to Teena about her character prior to the shoot was something where Payal would get better and she would progress to having a love track. But the fact is that the character is yet stuck where it began from.”

Armed with this information we contacted Teena who confirmed stating, “I essay a very challenging role in the show but what is the use if the there is no progress. I have communicated the same to the production house. They have asked for some time to churn out tracks to bring the character back in action. But if they fail to do so, I will sadly have to move out.”

We buzzed Producer Siddharth Malhotra (Cinevistaas) but he remained unavailable for comment.
