It was a tough decision but I had to QUIT the show – Ssharad Malhotra

Actor Ssharad Malhotra can certainly termed to be in the best phase of his life where he is playing the male lead in primetime show, ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’ and also trying something completely new with ‘Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza’.

And adding icing on the cake is the actor’s upcoming film, ‘1 13 7: Ek Tera Saath’ which is set for a release tomorrow. However, where everything is going guns blazing for the actor, he had to take a tough and much-needed decision.

Ssharad Malhotra decided to quit his show…

Before the fans get shocked, don’t worry it isn’t ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’ we are talking about. Ssharad has decided to quit ‘Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza’.

We contacted Ssharad, who confirmed saying, “Yes. It’s true. I have been doing two shows simultaneously where initially, I thought it can be managed. However, I realized that I am doing a daily soap which is male centric show and needs a lot of hours. At the same time, I have my film coming up and have been busy with promotions and other things. Hence, I had to take this decision.”

On being asked that how was the experience, he said, “It has been a lot of fun. It is something so challenging and I will cherish every bit of it. Doing a daily soap in front of a camera and putting up a stage performance in front of 100 plus people are two completely different things and I am glad to have experienced them both. While trying to strike a balance, the erratic working hours started taking a toll on my health too. Hence, it was a tough decision but I had to quit.”

He added, “It has been such a joyride and I am going to miss it a lot. In fact, in near future, if and when time allows, I would love to get back to it. So hope for the best.”
