&TV’s mythological drama Paramavatar Shri Krishna (Peninsula Pictures) is about the journey of Lord Krishna’s transformation into a divine leader of all.
The newly launched show will sure garner a huge audience as the tales of the great Lord Krishna never grow old.
As per our sources, actress Tia Gandwani, who has earlier been in shows like Saarrthi, Chandragupta Maurya, Baalveer, is now on board with the team too.
She is seen playing the role of Rohini who was Balarama’s mother.
We got in touch with the actress and she shared some interesting insights over her role. Read on…
On her character, she commented, “Not everyone is aware about Rohini’s role in creating Krishna into who he was. The show portrays their journey from before Krishna’s birth. Rohini is a very strong woman who even fights Kans to save her husband’s life. I love the character as it’s very positive and challenging. It’s different from the typical daily soaps.”
Tia recently shot a very challenging underwater sequence for the show, when asked about it, she said, “I learnt swimming for this scene. It was very scary because I had to jump backwards in the water but eventually I had enjoyed doing the scene.”
“What actually gave me the courage was the fact that my husband (Vaibhav Mutha) who is the director of the show was shooting the scene.
His presence was a big factor in helping me perform my act properly. He calmed me down when I was tensed, he said ‘Main hoo na, tension matt lo, kudd jao’ (I am there, don’t take tension, just jump). I even learnt horse-riding because my entry was shot with me riding a horse,” she added.
