Colors’ Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop has been in the news for a long time now, where the show has managed to garner love and appreciation. Little Affan Khan has truly done a great job so far, but the show will soon be presenting a 10 year leap, which will mean that a grown-up Roop will be introduced.

We reported already that actor Shashank Vyas has been roped in to play the grown-up Roop. And now, according to reports, it is being said that Ek Deewaana Tha leading lady, Donal Bisht has been finalised to play the female lead of the show.

Yes! That’s right. Reports suggest that Donal is confirmed to be paired opposite Shashank in the show.

We buzzed Donal, and talking about the character, she said, “I will play Ishika who is a strong, lives in the modern era with modern thinking and with an attitude that a girl can also be an earning member of the house. I totally resonate with the character as I have been self independent from the start.”

“The show’s concept is very unique and will break the stereotype of Indian mentally of differentiating between men and women that women just being restricted to household work. This show will help decreasing that difference between them and make thinking progressive. We live in the 21st century and my producer Rashmi Sharma has brought this concept to light beautifully. I am looking forward to start shooting for Roop”, she added further.
