She clarified that she was not quitting the show anytime soon.
Colors’ Bepanah is currently impressing the audience and has been topping the online charts for the past few weeks now. And if that’s not enough, the show’s lead pair Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda have garnered quite a huge fan base.
The show recently took a leap of 6 months post which Aditya is seen living in Paris for rediscovering himself and Zoya is seen helming ‘Zosh’ events and also wins the ‘Young Achievers Award’.
Also, as the leap did mark the end of Pooja (Namita Dubey) and Yash’s (Sehban Azim) characters, there was speculation over a post of actress Mallika Nayak who plays Sakshi in the show, whether or not she was quitting Bepannaah.
It so happened that last week, Mallika delivered a power packed performance as Sakshi. In the scene, Sakshi is seen berating Adi and giving him a reality check about how he was also responsible for Pooja looking for love outside her marriage.
And, as that scene garnered Mallika huge applause, she decided to thank the team for the trust that they have shown in her. See this post in question below.
However, this post was construed as Mallika’s farewell message from the show. The actress received many queries on whether Sakshi’s character will be a part of the show’s storyline anymore or not.
And we have an answer.
Speaking to us, Mallika assured everyone saying, “That post was an appreciation post for my scene last week. Since I thanked the entire team, people assumed that it was my farewell message for the show. But no, I’d like to assure one and all that I am very much a part of Bepannaah and will continue to be so.”
Our source also tells us that the upcoming episodes will see Sakshi in a prominent role. And logically speaking, Yash and Pooja’s death mystery still remains to be solved. So technically, the makers can not do away Sakshi’s character, right?
Rest assured, the fans can expect some high voltage drama from the show post leap.
