The MEDLEY Sung by Indian Idol contestants Brings Back 25 Years of Shah Rukh Khan!

Indian Idol, the longest running reality show and yet attaining Number 1 position in the industry has been the career defining platform for a lot of known singers and musicians including Neha Kakkar, Monali Thakur to name a few.

The contestants of the current season have already made a mark for themselves and are promising singers. Bollywood’s King Khan- Shah Rukh Khan, who along with his co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma graced the sets for the Grand Finale episode of Indian Idol 2018. Shah Rukh was mesmerized with the performances of the Top 5 contestants and also expressed his interest in working with them in the industry.

To celebrate King Khan’s visit on the sets and his completing 25 amazing years in the movie industry, the contestants presented a beautiful medley of some of his superhit songs like Baazigar, Main Hu Na and Main Hu Don. Shah Rukh got emotional seeing their performance as it reminded him of his entire journey in Bollywood of the last 25 years.

Shah Rukh Khan got nostalgic and moved by the performance, he said “I feel so humble being here. The only gift that God can give us is a beautiful voice and the power of singing. I loved the act. You reminded me of my entire journey. I would love to work with all the finalists both as background singers as well in the foreground as their performance was at par with international standards.”

It definitely can’t get bigger than this for the contestants to get a chance to work with the world’s biggest star-Shah Rukh Khan.
