Tejasswi Prakash sets a new trend with her on-screen wedding trousseau!

Simple and elegant is her mantra and she has nailed it to perfection.

Tejasswi Prakash’s portrayal of Diya in Sony TV’s Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya has been a role that has hands down been the actress’ controversial as well as challenging role ever done by the actress.

Apart from the actress’ impeccable acting skills, Tejasswi’s looks in the show have also garnered immense appreciation. And now, the actress has set a trend with her ongoing wedding sequence in the show.

The show revolves around Rajasthani background and the dcor, costumes are but naturally, heavy. Nevertheless that didn’t stop Tejasswi from looking her best. She has broken all barriers and will she seen in a look that has never been shown on television! She wanted to stand out and not follow the basic Rajputi look, which she has been seen in since inception.

All of Tejasswi’s ensembles for her on-screen wedding are simple and elegant and not heavy and otherwise flashy like we see in North Indian weddings on screen. Be it her sangeet or mehendi attires, they have been dominated by pastel shades apart from two outfits – her bachelorette and wedding dresses.

Tejasswi wore one of the lightest lehengas – a plain gold and floral printed lehenga for her engagement sequence which did make the actress stand out. She even kept her make up and jewellery to a bare minimum.

Similarly for her sangeet, she wore a simple and easy going net kurti and basic pants, nothing like what a bride would wear, but the actress managed to carry it with flair.

Well, all those brides who do not like to dress up in the heaviest of wedding finery, can take a cue from Tejasswi’s on screen wardrobe we guess.
