Colors’ longest running show Udaan, is finally going off-air after enjoying a five years long run on Television. The show which premiered in 2014, brought a unique concept of bonded labour, giving a tough competition to run-of-the-mill saas-bahu dramas. As the show is all set to go off-air, the entire team came along and bid final goodbyes to their beloved show.
Actress Tanya Sharma who is portraying the role of Anjor, took to her Instagram stories and shared some beautiful moments from the sets after wrapping up the shoot on Monday.
Initially, the show featured young actress Spandan Chaturvedi as Chakor, who was kept as a collateral when her mother was expecting her and how she was given away to the landlord after seven years for serving him. The show focused on the struggles of young Chakor who brought a revolution by breaking the unjust norms of society. The show took a generation leap and actress Meera Deosthale was roped in to play grownup Chakor. However, she left the show after the show took a leap for second time as she was not comfortable playing a mother on-screen.
