Swati Shah believes in indulging in serious retail therapy and it’s relatable on many levels…
Delhi is the hub of street shopping and no one who travels to Delhi is able to control the urge to shop. Swati Shah who will be seen playing the role of Yogi’s mother in Sony TV’s upcoming Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein wishes to return to Delhi and quench her thirst of street shopping from the famous markets in the city. She also longs for the mouth watering street food of Delhi.
Based on the premises of old Delhi, initial shoots of the show were done in Delhi where entire cast was not only seen bonding over shoots, but were also spotted having fun and enjoying on the street food of Delhi along with street shopping. But Swati Shah who essays the role of Kusum, Yogi’s mother, is somewhat not happy to have come back from there.
While she saw her co-actors like Rishina and Simran Pareenja shopping majorly for themselves, she missed that chance due to her busy shoot schedules. Returning back to Mumbai now, when she sees them in the dresses that they bought from Delhi, Swati desires to return to Delhi and come back to Mumbai with her entire luggage filled with clothes shopped from the streets of Delhi.
Speaking about her desire for shopping, Swati said, “I tend to buy a lot of clothes and bags for myself. I do like to get some local artistic objects for my home as well as to gift friends and family. Delhi is quite famous for all kinds of attires from western to traditional. While all the girls present for Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’s Delhi shoot were busy shopping from the famous streets as and when they got breaks from the shoot, I could not invest much time into shopping. Now, when I see their collection I really feel jealous and wish to take a return flight to Delhi and quickly shop for myself. If I get a chance to visit the place again, I will surely go with an entirely empty suitcase and will stuff it with everything that I shop from Delhi.”
