Contiloe’s upcoming mythological show Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan on Sony TV, is the much touted project and has been making headlines for its promos and star cast of the show.

As reported in media, the show has already got its launch date which is May 4 and now we hear that the time slot too has been finalized.

Our source informs us, “The show is ready to go on floors from May 4 and will be a weekly show. The show has acquired the time slot of 8 PM.”

Besides this, today on the auspicious occasion of Hanumaan Jayanti, who could be better than Hanumaan himself speaking about this day? Yes, we speak to actor Nirbhay Wadhwa, who is essaying the role of Hanumaan and ask him about the significance of this day.

Says Nirbhay, “Today is a very special day as we celebrate the birthday of Lord Hanumaan. Many people fast today and so, I will try to eat more of fruits as Lord Hanumaan used to have that often. But because of my busy schedule, I won’t be able to do much on this auspicious day.”

He further continues, “I am lucky and happy to portray such a powerful character of Lord Hanumaan. He is a deity who was very powerful, never misused his power and talking about his personality and image, it has always encouraged the followers to gather courage and fight back.”

Nirbhay who has started shooting for the show, feels that being Lord Hanumaan’s devotee, he has given up eating non-veg food and also has been restricted on the sets too. He says, “I have stopped eating eggs and non-veg food since the time I am essaying this devotional role. Such food is also restricted on our sets as Lord Hanumaan, was known to be a pure vegetarian and getting into the skin the character I need to don myself in his way.”
