Sony TV to replace ‘Kalakar’ with ‘The Drama Company’

Sony Entertainment Television has confirmed that it will be replacing its weekend reality show ‘Sabse Bada Kalakar’ with new comedy ‘The Drama Company’ hosted by Krushna Abhishek.
‘The Drama Company’ will also feature Sunil Grover in a cameo role, with Ali Asgar, Dr Sanket Bhonsle and Sugandha Mishra taking permanent roles on the show. Bollywood legend Mithun Chakraborty and funny man Sudesh Lahiri will also be a part of the comedy series.
The show has been described as a “broadband musical” with a blend of music and entertainment. It will be produced by Preeti Simoes, the former creative director of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
‘The Drama Company’ launches on Sony TV on Saturday 15th July at 20:00. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will continue in the 21:00 slot.
