Gul Khan has surely given us a lot to cheer about on Valentine’s Day. Not only did she unveil the teaser of her new chat show, Unscripted but also showcased the promo of Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala. The new show will air on Star Plus and is the Hindi remake of the hit Bengali show on Star Jalsha, Potol Kumar Gaanwala. Actor Mohit Malik is making a comeback with this show after a long time. He plays the role of a hit pop singer, Sikander Singh Gill. It is the story of a girl, who is blessed with immense musical talent and how she wants to reunite with her father. It was a TRP topper on Star Jalsha.
Joining Mohit Malik is actress Anjali Anand, who impressed one and all as the plump but confident Deepika. She will be a negative step mom. Actor Romanch Mehta is also reportedly a part of the cast. The show is a joint collaboration between Gul Khan and Nilanjana Purkayashtha.
Talking about his show, Mohit told an entertainment portal, “Yes the news is true, I am doing the show. We will start shooting for it very soon. I cannot say much about the show, you will have to give sometime for that.” This will be a comeback for Mohit who was last seen on Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa. In between, the actor was supposed to be cast with Disha Parmar in a Life Ok show but it did not materialise.
