Shastri Sisters celebrates their journey of 100 episodes!

The cast and crew of Colors’ Shastri Sisters celebrate their achievement of 100 episodes.

Colors’ Shastri Sisters produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms have come a long way with the entire star cast and crew celebrating the long run of 100 episodes today. The show basically revolves around the life stories of four sisters who have come down to Delhi from a Kanpur.

Well on this very successful achievement for the crew as well as the makers of the show, we got in touch with Sonal Vengurlekar who essays the role of Devyani. With much excitement, she averred, “We started shooting for the show from June this year and the initial two months were so very hectic for all of us. We used to shoot for 45 hours and so. Whatever free time we got back then, we used to just utilize in sleep as we were so sleep deprived. Be it festivals or good times or any bad times, it was only my co-actors. All of us have bonded so well that it is like we share everything with each other. Fortunately, our unit has got an off and hence we planned a small get together. We will meet up for dinner at Neelu Kohli’s (essays the role of Minty Sareen) house tonight and will also cut the cake there at her place.”

Besides this, the second unit that is shooting today will be seen rejoicing the celebration on the sets itself. There will be a cake cutting on the sets too.
