Shaheer Sheikh: I’m excited to give a shot at playing an ‘anti-hero’ or a negative character

Right from Mahabharat to Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi to Navya, every character has had its own essence and Shaheer Sheikh continues to believe in doing greater work.

Shaheer Sheikh has been keeping the audiences entertained with his music videos post his stint in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyar Ke. The actor also made his web debut with Paurashpur and is in fact, known to experiment with the kind of roles he picked. Right from Mahabharat to Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi to Navya, every character has had its own essence and he continues to believe in doing greater work.

Ask Shaheer how he has always maintained that he likes to explore different characters and what is he looking forward to, he reveals he wants to play a negative character. He told us, ”I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity of playing a myriad of characters, from mythology to history, & romance… but the one character I haven’t portrayed yet and I’m excited to give it a shot, is that of an ‘anti-hero’ or a negative character.” He adds, ”I would love to do interesting characters, it can on tv, web or movies.”

He was recently seen in a music video with Hina Khan and it has been trending and how. Talking about the same, he told us, ”I got to see Kashmir for the very first time like that.. I must say it is breathtaking now I know why they call it jannat.”

Ask him about any update on turning a producer and he says, ”I guess I got busy with other things but hopefully soon.”

While he has been receiving a lot of love for the latest music video Baarish Ban Jaana, the actor is gearing up for Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi Season 3 with Erica Fernandes.
