Shaan sings a romantic number; major drama at Durga’s engagement party in Ek Hasina Thi

Star Plus’ Ek Hasina Thi, produced by Cinevistaas Ltd will see breezy romance, a light-hearted and sensational song picturized on the two thick friends Dev (Bhuvnesh Mann) and Nitya (Aditi Sajwan), and of course followed by some major drama in tonight’s episode.

The most interesting aspect of the romantic song that will go on air tonight is that the song has been composed and written by Producer Siddharth Malhotra. Above all, the number has been exclusively sung by popular singer Shaan for Ek Hasina Thi.

The song goes like this:

Dil ko dukhana kisse kehte hai ab jaana sanam..
Pyaar deewana jisse kehte hai pehchana sanam..

Well, the premise of the song will be Durga’s engagement with Neil (Aamir Ali) as per her game plan. Durga’s idea is to trap Shaurya (Vatsal Seth) into confessing his love for her. Also, during this moment, Durga would request Dev to sing the beautiful song that he has composed for Nitya. Dev would oblige and would start singing this number. As he would sing, a teary-eyed Durga will remember the good old days with Dev. Dev will dream as though he is dancing with Nitya. Shaurya who is also present at the engagement party will also join in and sing the same song expressing his love for Durga.

When contacted, Producer Siddharth Malhotra said, “Yes, tonight’s episode of Ek Hasina Thi will have the song composed and written by me. It has been sung by my dear friend Shaan.”

Aditi Sajwan who essays the role of Nitya said, “It is a beautiful song sung by Shaan in his trademark voice. We are very elated when we learnt that Shaan would be singing a song exclusively for the show. I was feeling all the more excited as the song is meant to been written by Dev for Nitya, my character.”

Coming to the drama element in the episode, loyal viewers of the show will for the first time see Shaurya getting desperate on seeing Durga getting engaged. He will have a breakdown; confess his love for Durga by cutting his wrist and thereby attempting suicide. As we know, the promo of this high-voltage sequence is presently on air.

We also hear that Durga who has been successful in her mission will in course of time start playing a different game, by taking good care of Shaurya at the hospital. She will also profess her love for Shaurya, thereby shocking one and all. This entertaining episode to air next week will have Durga sliding an engagement ring into Shaurya’s finger.
