Sayantani Ghosh’s claim about her role in Sasural Simar Ka is a BIG FAT lie!

Sasural Simar Ka has taken fiction to a new level with all its mythical creatures. The newest to join the mythical troop is Sayantani Ghosh. She will be seen essaying the role of Rajkumari Rajeshwari who is wealthy, elegant, arrogant and bossy. The Rajkumar, however, has a mysterious side; she poses as a 20 something but she is, in fact, 90 years old. And what keeps her young is the secret we’ll find soon enough.

Talking about her role, Ghosh who started shooting yesterday, informed a leading daily, “I’m really excited to join the team. Rajkumari Rajeshwari’s character is quite mysterious and adds an element of thrill to the storyline.” Now so far, I believed her. I really did! But then she said this…

You play a Rajkumari on the show… If I recall correctly you played a queen Satyavati in Mahabharat. So playing the royal yet again, shouldn’t be a very tough task.

Also now, your character is elegant, wealthy, arrogant and bossy… same as your character in Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, isn’t it?

As far as playing mythical characters is concerned, I would like to remind you of one of your early shows, Naaginn, where you played the lead.

So I’d like to know, what “difference” were you talking about when you said that the role is unlike all others. Because the only two unique points about the role that I could spot are the fact that you are associating with Colors for the first time (not counting Bigg Boss as it’s a reality show) and that this is the first time you’ll be on Sasural Simar Ka.
