Savdhan India to depict the grandeur of ‘Holi’ in UP; Ekta Kaul and Deepak Chadha to feature

It’s ‘Holi’ time, and Life OK’s Savdhan India will capture the entire essence of the festival of colors, celebrated in Uttar Pradesh with great aplomb!!

The episodic tale will feature talented actress Ekta Kaul playing the lead. The story will be produced by NandKishore Telefilms. Actor Deepak Chadha will also play a crucial role in the story.

Anchor Siddharth Shukla, we hear flew down to Uttar Pradesh to shoot for the live Holi sequences to be shown in the episode. This story to be aired as a special episode for Holi will be a visual treat for viewers, as it will very clearly explain and narrate the various rituals and customs that people follow during Holi in UP. It is believed that Holi is celebrated by following as many as 42 various customs and rituals.

As for the storyline, the story will revolve around Ekta Kaul’s character who would stage a fight back to nab the culprit responsible for her sister’s death. This episode has been shot mainly in Mathura, and other places in UP. It will be aired as a twin episode story this weekend, on 7 and 8 March.

Deepak Chadha will play the role of the police inspector who will help Ekta stage her fight back.

When contacted, Deepak Chadha confirmed that he is part of this story.
