How would you describe your character?
I found Haiwaan: The Monster, very intriguing. The whole concept of a love triangle and a story of friendships set against the backdrop of science fiction was what attracted me the most. Also, this is the first time I am will be playing a police officer on-screen, so I am really excited for it. The look adds to the beauty of the character. Moreover, as a cop, will she be able to stop the Haiwan in his tracks? Will she identify who the Haiwaan really is? What’ll happen to her relationship with Randhir and the friendship dynamics between them and Ansh? That’s the graph her character will follow.
After doing a series of the reality show, what made you take up this role?
As I have mentioned before the concept of show lured me into taking up this role. I think it is a really unique and challenging role for me to essay. The look adds to the beauty of the character. Moreover, the twists and turns in the show will leave the audiences surprised and wanting for more. I hope the viewers enjoy my new avatar as much as I love playing Amrita.
Did you do any research or preparation for this role?
Portraying Amrita’s character came naturally to me, I can relate very well to Amrita, as we share a lot of similarities. She is a head strong and straight forward girl in the exterior yet sensitive and emotional. So as such, I didn’t have to go against my basic grain to prepare for this character.
