The actor who plays Parv Singh in Zee TV’s Guddan – Tumse Na Ho Paayega is sad he cannot dance at the wedding!
Weddings are known for grand, larger than life celebrations with plenty of naach-gaana and masti. And, Indian weddings are incomplete without the quintessential desi thumkas on popular Bollywood numbers that everyone enjoys grooving to.
So some of the actors of Zee TV’s primetime show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, where Guddan (played by Kanika Man) is all set to tie the knot with Akshat Jindal (played by Nishant Singh Malkani), have been having a blast rehearsing their steps to put up truly dhamakedaar acts at the Roka, Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies, that will be telecast as a part of shaadi extravaganza all through October.
However, it is only the closest family members directly related to the bride and groom who get the privilege of putting up dance acts at the shaadi, as a result, many talented actors who can otherwise dance up a storm, are missing out on the opportunity to shake a leg at the wedding.
And feeling very left out and the first amongst them to be vocal about wanting to dance, was actor Rehaan Roy who essays the character of Parv Singh. But since he plays the antagonist of the show, he cannot be seen dancing and has missed out on all the fun and action! Last heard, Rehaan was talking to his co-stars and the creative team about his major FOMO on not being able to dance at the shaadi!
Ironically, Rehaan is a great dancer and is finding it difficult to keep away from all the excitement.
Says the hunk, “My character Parv creates a lot of drama as he kidnaps Guddan and gets her married to Akshat. While the storyline is extremely interesting, I am missing out on all the fun and masti surrounding the marriage track as being a villain, I am required to merely be a spectator. I love dancing but given the character that I am playing, I am unable to be on the dance floor while others are dancing their heart out. But as they say, work comes first and not to get distracted by anything else, I am focusing all my energies on making the sequence interesting. My character’s main aim is to get Guddan and Akshat married as that’s how Parv’s revenge will be fulfilled.”
Will Parv’s game plan prove to be a boon for Guddan and Akshat or create more complications in their lives?
