After already amassing a stellar career on the big screen for over a decade, actor Ranveer Singh is probably one of the first young A-list movie star getting ready to make his small screen debut as a host with an individual show, The Big Picture on Colors.
While the likes of Arjun Kapoor has been on TV as a host earlier but he did so with a popular franchise in the form of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Singh thus joins the league of Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and others to becoming the face of a show on the small screen.
While the quiz show, The Big Picture will be airing in over a week, the actor recently interacted with ETimes TV where he was asked about what does wife and actor Deepika Padukone has to say about his debut on the TV screen, to which he said, “Deepika always has constructive criticism for me, which I take very positively. I showed her my mock sessions, she gave me some tips and raised some very good points. I noted those points and imbibed them. I am really grateful that I have a sharp wife as a partner, who enhances my work through her constructive criticism.”
He also said that they often discuss each other’s projects, “We often discuss each other’s work. I am really grateful that I have such a great insight into the arts, the performance, and all these things (Pointing out at the Big Picture visual). Deepika has given me some tips and I am working on them. And, hopefully, with her love and support, I will be able to impress everyone.”
We certainly cannot wait to see Singh’s TV debut soon.
