PromoReview: Vatsal Sheth’s COMPLEX character intrigues us in the second promo of ‘Haasil’!

And as promised, the show will make you await the third promo even more.

Sony TV’s Haasil has been in the news for having managed a casting coup of sorts with 3 powerful actors Zayed Khan, Vatsal Sheth and Nikita Dutta in the lead roles. The show, a finite thriller also marks Zayed Khan’s debut in television.

The show launched its first promo starring Zayed Khan in the lead role and it has been received well by the audience. And now, the second promo featuring Vatsal Sheth is out and here’s what we felt about it.

What is the promo about:

The promo introduces us to Kabir Raichand, who is as stubborn as there can any person be. For Kabir, what kind of love is devoid of madness and what kind of zest is not stubborn. Kabir is also shown to be a charmer, with women flocking to him time and again. But in this promo, we see that for Kabir, satisfying his ego is of utmost importance and that he would go to any lengths to attain what he wishes for.

What we liked:

Well, just like in the first promo, the locales are wonderful. And the voice over is as impactful as it gets. And it suits Vatsal’s character Kabir Raichand’s powerful personna completely.

Also, Vatsal’s character shows shades of his Ek Hasina Thi character Shaurya Goenka, a role that was loved and well accepted by the audience.

What we did not like:

Apart from their introduction scenes, the rest of the promo seems to be pretty much the same as the first one.

The verdict:

There is absolutely not doubt that the promo raises your intrigue. But we strongly feel that the makers could have done better with the promos of the leads atleast, instead of showcasing similar patterns.
