PromoReview: The season 2 of ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ is role reversal at its best!

Sony TV is all set to bring in the second season of ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi‘ and the fans cannot contain their excitement. The show has indeed created history with the way it managed to resume within weeks of going off-air.

Being a finite series, this time around, it will air from September 25 at 7:00 pm for a total of 6 weeks. With a concept like role reversal on TV, and the promo out, here’s what we think about it.

What is it about?

The promo beautifully showcases Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) as a homemaker and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) as a businesswoman, as the duo makes the two ends meet. Dev is shown taking care of both the kids, Soha and the newest family member – Shubh, while Sonakshi is busy on the phone with all her work.

The Good:

The background score of the show is pleasing to hear and all the better, given the way the story has been incorporated into words. The chapter two of the show focuses on Dev’s realisation of how he wasn’t with Sonakshi when Soha was born and so he is now trying to make things easier and better for both of them.

Moreover, the concept of role reversal between the wife and husband isn’t something that’s alien to all but the portrayal is meticulous. Though a very short glimpse into what we will see, it is indeed satisfying to see something like that on TV.

The Not So Good:

While the depiction is totally up to the mark, the concept is not something we’ve not seen before. Many might find this a rather cliched concept and that might be the only hindrance.

The Verdict:

With a screen presence so grand and actors Shaheer and Erica on board, the chapter is going to carry the legacy of the show forward.
