Star Plus’ Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai is back with its second promo and it is intriguing as hell. Yes, we reveal it to you in the first line itself because we just cannot keep our excitement to ourselves. The promo raises doubts and questions that you viewers will wrack your brains for answers but will not be able to come up with any.
The promo starts with Geetanjali (Surbhi Jyoti) and her brother Rishab (Sharad Kelkar) traveling in a car and listening to the radio. And suddenly a song request shocks Geetanjali and Rishab and brings back a rush of memories for Geetanjali.
Apparently, Captain Abhimanyu Singh Rathod (Shoaib Ibrahim) makes a song request – Lag Jaa Gale by Lata Mangeshkar. Geetanjali is transported back to her happy times with her deceased husband Abhimanyu. And her brother Rishab, is seen getting visibly uncomfortable.
What is the mystery behind Abhimanyu’s death? Has Rishab played a role in the death of his sister’s husband?
What we liked:
The first promo peaked our interest in the show and how! The viewers got a rough idea of what the show is all about. The second promo as we mentioned above, has only added to our rising curiosity levels even more. It is a well-known fact now that Sharad Kelkar will essay a grey shade in the show. And the second promo gives us a glimpse into the same.
The viewers get to glimpse the chemistry between Surbhi and Shoaib, which is electrifying.
Sharad plays his character of a blind man to perfection except for one place where his blind act slips. Now if that is deliberate or not, is something that intrigues us and we must wait and watch.
What we did not like:
Actually, nothing. The show, even though the concept is the same old supernatural horror thriller, the show is such that audience will watch it anyway.
The verdict:
The second promo smartly offers us a glimpse into what’s more to look forward to in the show but does not reveal much, keeping the curiosity level intact. The show will definitely set the bar higher in the supernatural department.
