Preetika Rao receives an Oscar replica from a fan from Pakistan!

After portraying the character of Aaliya in Colors’ popular show Beintehaa, Preetika Rao feels happy and blessed to receive so much love from her fans.

Pretty actress Preetika Rao, who rose to fame after essaying the character of Aaliya in Colors’ much loved show Beintehaa is overwhelmed to see the immense love and warm support of her fans.

Preetika not only enjoys the fan following in India but she enjoys a huge fan following across the world. While portraying the character of Aaliya, she also became an inspiration for many fans as well and was praised by them for her work in different ways. Recently, one of her fan flew down to India from UK just to meet her.

Sharing the incident, Preetika says, “Shabina from UK flew down specially to meet me before the shoot wrapped up. Shabina told me that I am a role model to several Muslim girls who take inspiration from Aaliya to be true Muslims. She also got me a personalized mug with a message stating – Muslim Barbie Doll.”

Along with getting felicitated with many trophies for her work, Preetika has also been awarded with trophies by her fans. Telling us about the same, she adds, “I have received two trophies from fans all over the world who have got in touch with their counterparts -Indian fans -on social networking sites and collectively contributed to send me trophies to felicitate my work. A Pakistani girl based in Canada called Laraib has sent me an Oscar replica with my name engraved on it. Also another heart-touching trophy was sent by my fans which had ‘Malika-e-Fans’ message written on it. A few of my fans visited my sets during the last few days of the show with cakes, bouquets and also gave me several personalize gifts.”

“Fans were totally disheartened that the show has come to an end and are already requesting for a Season 2,” concludes Preetika.
