One of my dreams is to work with Kapil Sharma: Meena Mir

There are thousands of actors who play supporting roles to the protagonists, give the film a new lease of credibility, and are as, if not more, talented than the main leads. However, they do not receive as much fame and stardom as they deserve. In our Casting Call segment, we present you with some of the most significant Indian television, web, and Bollywood actors who we hope eventually get their due in the future.

Actress Meena Mir, who has featured in shows like Afsar Bitiya, Service Wali Bahu, and Zindagi Ki Mehek and is currently seen in Baavle Utaavle, is content with her journey in the industry.

She shared, ‘I am glad that I have been offered good roles and that I have the leverage of being selective. I rose to fame with my stint in Afsar Bitiya, and that show helped in shaping my career. Currently, I am enjoying working in Baavle Utaavle. The entire team is very hard working, and we actually are “baavle utaavle” on the sets. This is my first attempt in comedy. My friends tell me that my comic timing is very good.’

She added, “One of my dreams is to work with Kapil Sharma. I am sure after sharing the stage with him, Kapil himself will compliment me for my spontaneity in comedy.’

When asked about the kind of projects she would like to take up in the future, she replied, ‘I really admire actresses like Tabu and Divya Dutt for the kind of work they do. Even I want to play such substantial roles. I also want to take up films now.’
