After producing shows like Chhal, Laut Aaao Trisha, talented actor turned producer Bhairavi Raichura is back on television with her new show Satrangi Sasural, which depicts a unique story of a young boy with seven mothers.
Talking about the show Bhairavi commented, “My new show Satrangi Sasural is about human relationships. In a marriage even a guy has to compromise. In any marriage insecurities crop up from both the sides. In this show Vihaan (Ravish Desai) is the only person on whom everyone in the family has showered love and hence it is going to be difficult for him as well to balance between his mothers and wife.”
“Going by the cast and look of the show many might feel that this is a saas-bahu story or a woman centric serial, but in reality, this show is also about Vihaan, who is blessed with seven mothers and how he handles the situation post his marriage.”
She further went on to add, “In every relationship people have certain expectations and a bit of clash arises due to expectations and emotions. My show is all about that.”
Talking about the Marathi version of the show, Bhairavi commented, “My show is based on a Marathi serial Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi, but it cannot be termed as a mere remake. We have just borrowed the initial concept and then have developed it and made necessary changes”.
When she was asked about the shows she has produced, Bhairavi quickly commented, “I have always tried doing different kind of shows. My first show Chhal was a thriller and my second show Laut Aao Trisha is a thriller too but at the same time it also depicted strained relationships between the family members. Though this show (Satrangi Sasural) is a family drama, it is very different from the usual one.”
Sharing her plan to act once again Bhairavi said, “I would definitely act once again in serials, but currently I am concentrating fully on my production house. Nandita (Mehra) is now busy with direction so, I am paying a bit more attention to producing.”
We wish her all the best with her new show.
