‘Namak Ishq Ka’ shoot halts after Monalisa tests positive for COVID-19

As soon as Monalisa was tested positive, the shoot of the show was immediately halted and following that the entire cast and crew got tested.

Another day and another unfortunate addition to the list of public figures getting tested positive for COVID-19. We gave already seen an array of names testing positive for the virus and having to either do home quarantine or even having admitted to the hospital.

Only earlier today, we reported about how actor Toral Rasputra and Ankit Siwach tested positive for COVID-19. And now, joining this list is actor Monalisa (Antara Biswas).

As we know, Monalisa currently plays the role of Iravati in Colors’ Namak Issk Ka. As soon as Monalisa was tested positive, the shoot of the show was immediately halted and following that the entire cast and crew got tested.

Reports suggest that the actor was having symptoms for a few days and she went under the test the day before. After the report came out positive, makers decide to stop the shoot and have precautionary tests for everyone. While the results of many are awaited, leading man of the show, Aditya Ojha aka Yug has tested negative.

We wish Monalisa recovers at the soonest and that nobody else has contracted the virus too
