Preity Zinta’s performance as Nach Baliye 7 has been under severe scrutiny thanks to her rather lenient behaviour with the contestants. While the actress has received a lot of flak, fans were shocked when news broke that Preity has been replaced by Remo D’Souza as judge in the show.

Before a storm could kick in, it was clarified that Remo will be filling Ms Zinta’s place only for one week, as Preity has some prior commitments which she cannot skip. Apparently, the bubbly star has gone to visit her ailing grandmother, who has just been out of a major surgery.

Preity tweeted,” Lot of people asking why I’m not on #nachbaliye tonight ? Well my grandma had a major operation & I had 2go see her in Shimla that’s why !” Meanwhile, it is said that Remo will use this opportunity to promote his upcoming dance flick ABCD 2 along with Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Dheva.
