While the show has now made an amazing comeback amidst all the other reruns on television, Juhi opens about her experience of portraying a double role which had such diverse shades to it.
Juhi shares, “I had portrayed a double role in Kumkum, but had never ever played a negative role as I was always told that with the face I have, I might not get offered one. Though Siddharth Kumar Tewary had a different vision in mind and since he is someone who likes to do things which are out of the box, he was convinced that I would be able to pull off a negative role alongside a positive one. Hence he offered me the roles of Sandhya and Chaya in Shani, and I am so happy to have played them both because it really gave me a chance to showcase that particular side of my acting skills which I hadn’t gotten a chance to do before! My negative role portrayal in Shani got me a lot of praise and appreciation, which I am so happy to have accomplished.”
