Monish Behl to be back on TV! Will host crime show Hoshiyar

We have seen many silver screen stars turning to the small screen audience and getting colossal response from their fans. The popular TV entries by the mega stars like Amitabh Bachchan for the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, Shah Rukh Khan for quiz shows, Anupam Kher for ‘Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’ and many more have been popular with the TV viewing audience. All these shows gained a lot of TRP just as these stars from the tinsel town were roped in. There is this one more celeb who was seen in superhit films like ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ and is loved by the TV audience too! Yes you guessed it right! It’s Mohnish Behl. Mohnish has done both Films and TV and now he is again set to host a crime related show on channel &TV, called ‘Hoshiyar’!

Optimystix Productions is coming up with this new crime show named as Hoshiyar that gives ‘Power to you’. Optimystix Productions which has also made the shows like ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ and ‘Comedy Nights Live’ decided to make this show in a new concept related to a common man. The concept says that a common man if stays aware and alert, can stop the crime from happening.

Before Mohnish Behl, the production earlier thought of roping in some other celebs to host the show. Amongst them were Tinsel town’s one of the most liked villians, Gulshan Grover and ‘Diya Aur Baati’ fame Sooraj aka Anas Rashid. However as of now it is confirmed that Mohnish Behl will be hosting it finally.

Mohnish Behl has always been hailed as a TV show host and a TV actor. We all know how much his characters were loved by the people in popular serials like ‘Sanjivani’, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ and ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’. Not only this he was also liked as a host with his low but firm voice. Let’s see what other shows he hosted!

Savdhaan India: This crime show that got immensely popular in the households has Mohnish Behl as the host along with others. The show is based upon the crimes happening in the country and with a scenic representation and anchors talking about it simultaneously.

Bachke Rehna Zara Sambhalke: This show aired back in 2002 which fell into the category of quiz show where contestants tried their luck along with their skills. mohnish Behl hosted this show which was an Indian adaptation of a popular game show Russian Roulett. This show was produced by Columbia Tristar Domestic Television that was aired for twenty six episodes.

Star Vivaah: This was a match making show by Star Plus in 2009 which was hosted by Mohnish Behl and Aditi Shirwaikar. The show had a format where the ‘single’ contestants would discuss about their likes and dislikes with other others and then based upon that they would search for their life partner. On weekends, the show invited many popular faces from TV and Bollywood industries who gave some tips and advice to the contestants.

So this was about Mohnish Behl and his amazingly popular hosted shows. Now, as he is back with a new show, we are sure that he is once again going to impress his fans just like he has done it for years!
