Mohit Malik might not shoot for the finale of ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’

While he is currently in quarantine, we also know that the show is all set to go off-air soon. The show will wrap up on 22nd January and the finale will air on 23rd January 2021. Hence, there is a report that with Malik testing positive, he will not be a part of the finale shoot.

This situational is rather ironical if not anything else. Lockdown – a word that has been synonymous with our lives over the past year almost lead to an array of things happening and especially in the entertainment industry. As soon as restrictions were lifted, a fresh show in the form of Lockdown Ki Love Story arrived on Star Plus which was extremely prevalent.

Even the poster had actors sporting masks denoting how they are trying to be safe from coronavirus.

And on that note, a piece of unfortunate news arrived recently when it was confirmed that leading man Mohit Malik has tested positive for COVID-19. While he is currently in quarantine, we also know that the show is all set to go off-air soon. The show will wrap up on 22nd January and the finale will air on 23rd January 2021. Hence, there is a report that with Malik testing positive, he will not be a part of the finale shoot.

But the makers are still in a fix wondering how to bow away. On one hand, it is possible that the show ends abruptly or wraps on 22nd January with the finale airing on a later date. But nothing is confirmed as of yet. There is a possibility that Malik might shoot from home but talking about it to Times of India, he said, “Since I am unable to go to the set because of this recent development I am sure there must have been some kind of changes in the screenplay with my absence. I am still not aware about the ending of the show as I haven’t spoken to them yet. I know people have also shot from home but right now I am not in a condition to shoot from home. I have terrible body ache. I can do it later as it is my show but not as of now. Let’s se how I feel in a couple of days.”
