The actor spills the beans about the fitness trainings that she had to undergo for her character…
Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s magnum opus historic show, Porus on Sony Entertainment Television has set well with the viewers and the strong characters bring out the essence. In order to maintain the body language and composure, actors of the show have taken up various fitness trainings to maintain their bodies.
One such actress is Shraddha Musale who plays Mahanandi Darshyu on the show. Shraddha has been learning Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for the show. When asked to reveal the reason to learn the art she says, “MMA prepared me well for the role. Rather than just depicting the character physically, it is understanding the mental make-up of the character that matters, and MMA has helped me achieve that.”
After CID, Porus is Shraddha Musale’s first historic period drama. This involves her to change her body language completely to fit the character. She adds, “I wasn’t apprehensive because I am playing a strong character. The show is set in a matriarchal society where all the decisions are taken by the queen.”
Well, we wish the actress good luck for the show.
