Meera and Dharam to PART WAYS in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya

Festival time on Indian television shows, always prove to be a major turning point. Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya finally saw the exit of the evil Rahejas. The show’s track will soon proceed towards the Karwachauth celebrations where Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) and her daughter Meera’s (Tanya Sharma) world will turn upside down.

Gopi will be seen recovering from Mansi’s attack and being by her side constantly, will be Jaggi (Mohammad Nazim). Jaggi who has fallen in love with Gopi, would take care of her and nurture her back to health, as she is the one who saved him from Mansi’s (Kajal Pisal) attack.

It will soon be time for Karwachauth festivities in the house and Jaggi, who is completely smitten by Gopi, will keep a fast for her. Gopi,on the other hand, has no feelings of love for Jaggi and is saddened by thoughts of Ahem. She would look at the moon and reminisce about how Ahem would break her fasts until his death.

As their love is one sided, Gopi would not be aware of Jaggi fasting for her. Jaggi fasts the whole day, but with great difficulty. Urmila (Vandana Vithlani), who would be aware of Jaggi’s growing affections for her bhanji, would advice Jaggi a way to break his fast from Gopi’s hands.

As per the plan, Jaggi on the pretext of speaking to Gopi, would pretend to have lost consciousness and faint in front of her. A tensed Gopi, would then make Jaggi drink water, by unknowingly breaking his fast.

Where we can see a glimmer of light in Gopi’s life in the form of Jaggi, a dimmer would soon be seen in her daughter Meera’s life in the form of Naiyya (Pratibha Tiwari).

Naiyya, had years ago, plotted Meera’s abortion and framed Vidya (Sonam Lamba) for the same. The sisters moved apart then but are now back as each other’s strengths. In a bid to however destroy Meera, Naiyya plans something very vicious.

Meera and Dharam (Amar Upadhyay), are already having insecurity issues. But Naiyya, would add a whole can of fuel to the blazing fire in the name of Ritesh (Siddharth Sen). Meera, would religiously fast for Dharam on Karwachauth, unaware of the fact that the whole time, Dharam would be under the impression that Meera has been fasting for Ritesh.

In reality, Naiyya would be the one who secretly calls for Ritesh to come to the house on the day of the fasting. Seeing Ritesh would irk Dharam so much that he would yell at Meera at the time of breaking the fast and insult her.

Meera would try to explain to Dharam that she does not know who has invited Ritesh. Dharam tells Meera, that his suspicions are now confirmed, that she has fasted for Ritesh and not him. Meera tries arguing with Dharam but he does not listen. Hurt by Dharam’s distrust in her, a hurt and annoyed Meera would break all her ties with her husband.

Is this the end of the road for Dharam and Meera?
