Getting back to fiction TV after a long hiatus is the good looking and cute Shravan Reddy who will be seen playing the interesting role of Neil in Swastik Productions’ Manmarziyan on Star Plus. The actor who has been part of shows like Jersey No 10, Webbed, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya last appeared in MTV Splitsvilla.
When asked about his prominence in the ‘female’ focussed show, the actor smiled to say, “I am there as a fresh break to feminism. But yes, my character is to bring a balance in the lives of the girls and also add some romance (winks). To add to it, this show is not just about specific characters but overall it is an amazing experience of the journey of life which we would all be able to relate to.”
Talking about his character, Shravan shared, “I play a quirky light-hearted character who works in an ad agency. He knows his way out from struggles and difficulties. Also he is mature and most dynamic among the four. Neil is a fun guy who is liked by everyone he meets.”
When asked about his comeback to TV, the young lad shared, “I was actually forced to take a sabbatical after a major injury that got me bed-ridden for a long time. But now post some episodics, I am getting used to the world of fiction again. It is definitely a great feeling.”
“I am really glad to have got this show as my comeback project. The channel has a great reach of all age groups and thus would be available to all. Interestingly with the show having a great mix of family and youth, I am sure everyone would enjoy watching Manmarziyan,” added Shravan.
The actor who was last seen in the season of Splitsvilla shared that the reality show did manage to give him his share of popularity. Said the actor, “Splitsvilla was loved by the youngsters a lot and it did become a rage. But reality shows cater to a certain level of audience, but fiction shows get an actor to every household via TV screens.”
And finally with the show portraying self discovery, we wondered about his ‘moment’ of realisation to fulfill his Manmarziyan. “To be honest I still don’t know. I think aspirations keep on changing and one should continue dreaming and making life worth living,” answered Shravan.
Wish you great luck young boy!!!
