Bharti Singh talks about her anchoring IGT – season 6!
Adding another feature of the season to her hat with India’s Got Talent – Season 6, or as they say – Ab Hunar Dega Jawaab, Bharti Singh is back once again to host some unique talents!
With new talents coming in year on year, the star comedian took this opportunity to express how she found an emotional connect with the contestants this year!
She said, “I always wanted to become a rifle shooter but unlike others, I did not have the money to buy the rifle or the equipments to learn the art. Since I had a very good humor I thought of giving it a try in television. ”
“I came to Mumbai six years down the line with an aspiration to debut on television with Laughter Challenge. My relatives spoke ill my idea of following my dreams. They thought that by joining the industry I would indulge in all the wrong doings. Today they all crave to share a laugh with me and it is only because of them that I was inspired to prove myself successful. I am happy to have found the industry as my family. When I see participants perform with so much vigor I recollect my journey and it leaves me teary eyed.” She added.
Moving forward to IGT introducing a new host in its sixth edition, we went on to ask the comedian if she shared a rapport with the television actor, Nakuul Mehta.
Expressing about how she feels about her co-host, she averred, “Before I knew Nakuul, people told me that he looked similar to Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan. When I met him he looked very pleasant just like what I had heard of him. Nakuul is a learner. He understands comedy is my forte and does not interfere in that space. He would be doing more of serious anchoring. Apart from that we will be seen sharing the stage with the contestants too.”
“With regards to pairing up with him I would like to state that I love Manish Paul and he is the best co-host I can ever pair up with.” Bharti added.
Now that the comedian has tasted success, we asked her if she planned to launch a signature show just like her fellow celebrated comedian.
Bharti stated, “I am not as talented as Kapil Sharma. He is my mentor and I am sure when the time is right I will also have an opportunity to launch my signature show. For now, I really want to be a proud owner of a Rolls Royce car! ”
We wish the lady best wishes for her future endeavors!
