Mahima Makwana to play Ram Kapoor’s daughter in Sony TV’s Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane

It’s newsbreak time yet again!!

Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane which will mark the comeback of popular actor Ram Kapoor will certainly be the next big show to hit the small screen.

The engrossing tale will trace the journey of a guy who would be completely dependent on his wife for all the love and affection he gets, till the day when she will breathe her last owing to the deadly cancer. The story will then move on to the dutiful husband’s struggle to turn around and become an equally affectionate father to his daughter. The show is being produced by Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada, makers of the Colors show Udann.

Now, after an extensive casting process, the maker and channel have found their lead girl who would play daughter to Ram Kapoor.

And as per reliable sources, it will be the young and beautiful Mahima Makwana who has been roped in to play the daughter. Mahima as we know, was recently seen in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.

A recent media report suggested that the makers were keen on signing in Aanchal Munjal for the above-said role. But it is eventually Mahima who grabs the prized role.

She will now go on to play the role of Pooja Bhatt in this show which is supposed to be adapted from the popular Anupam Kher-Pooja Bhatt flick, Daddy.

Mahima remained out of reach for a comment.

We tried buzzing the Producer Guruodev Bhalla as well as channel spokesperson, but did not get any revert from them.

Gurdeep Kohli plays Ram’s wife in the show.
