To play the role of a superhero, Aakarshan was required to perform various stunts in the show, ranging from kicks, somersaults, rappelling and jumping off buildings. So, to get the correct body language and ensure he performed those skillful actions with ease, the makers of the show got him trained by professional trainers. Deepak Das, well-known professional in the field of martial arts, who has also trained various Bollywood celebrities trained Aakarshan extensively, helping him get into the skin of the character.
Talking about the training, Aakarshan Singh said, “Aryan’s role is quiet demanding and physically challenging. This is my first show and I wanted to make sure I leave no stone unturned in portraying a super hero. When the makers told me that I would need to be trained in Parkour, to be honest I was a little hesitant as I have had no professional training in the past but I feel honoured now to have learnt it from the best in the industry. The training was definitely not easy and required both physical fitness and mental determination. There were times when I was required to manage my entire body weight on one hand. I had to make a lot of changes in my diet regime. Though I have used these stunts for a few scenes in the show, this training will stay with me for a lifetime. I definitely want to learn the technique in totality and will do so once I get a break from my shoot schedule.”
As they say, nothing in life comes easy and preparing for the role of a superhero has definitely been challenging for debutant Aakarshan Singh. Learning from watching the biggies like – Jackie Chan, Tiger Shroff, Zayed Khan etc, Aakarshan is all set to make an impactful debut in the industry. Telling a gripping tale, Maharakshak Aryan will take viewers on a journey of an ordinary boy to a destined superhero.
The show airs every Saturday – Sunday at 7 PM, only on Zee TV!
