Mundle isn’t happy with the way her track has been progressing and she has already expressed her disappointment to the makers on how her role should be meatier.
Actress Madirakshi Mundle made a return of sorts to her mythological roots when it was confirmed that she has been roped in to play the role of Goddess Lakshmi in Jagat Janani Maa Vaishnodevi – KahanI Mata Rani Ki. Even though Mundle starred in a fiction drama, Jaat Ki Jugni before Vaishno Devi, it was her mythological role of Goddess Sita in Siya Ke Ram that made her immensely popular.
However, it seems that unlike her smooth run in Siya Ke Ram, her stint in Maa Vaishno Devi hasn’t turned out to be as good. According to sources, Mundle isn’t happy with the way her track has been progressing and she has already expressed her disappointment to the makers on how her role should be meatier. When Mundle signed up for the character she was extremely excited about the role but as the track continued, creativity issues surfaced and Mundle feels she hasn’t signed up for this.
But, amidst all this, Mundle has dismissed all these rumors in a quote to Bombay Times, where she said that she is happy playing the role of Goddess Lakshmi and even though she has a few projects lined up ahead it doesn’t mean she cannot attempt them while she continues to act in the TV show. She concluded reaffirming that she always wanted to play Goddess Lakshmi and she needs her blessings in her life.
Even though Mundle has dismissed all these rumors, the makers have apparently already approached Giaa Manek to play the role and replace her in the show.
