It was breaking news about Life OK deciding to end the tenure of Scaling Height Productions’ Nadaan Parinde.
Even the Producers Imtiaz Punjabi and Chokkas Bhardwaj had complied to the news, and had slated that poor ratings and certain grave issues owing to the weather conditions in Chandigarh resulted in the channel taking the call.
Now, the latest development is that the channel has revoked the decision of axing the show.
A reliable source states, “The channel has changed the earlier decision taken. They have now given an extension for Nadaan Parinde. Though the duration of the extension is not known yet, it is for sure that the show is not ending now.”
Elaborating on the reason for extending the show, our source states, “The channel feels there are lot many tracks to be explored, and that the show still holds a lot of potential.”
Earlier, the show featuring Karam Rajpal, Gulki Joshi and Nikhhil Chaddha in lead roles was to go off air on 5 September.
As reported in media, Baawre, produced by Sunshine Productions will go off air on 5 September. The Rajshri Productions show Mere Rang Main Rang Ne Wali will take its slot.
We tried calling Producer Imtiaz Punjabi, but could not reach him.
We dropped a text message to Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story.
