Karan V Grover turns a ‘serial killer’ for Star Plus’ Gulmohar Grand

Star Plus’ latest offering, Gulmohar Grand, produced by Sudhir Sharma’s Sunshine Productions is receiving great appreciation, especially for the high production values involved.
As we know, the series deals with various interesting and intriguing happenings inside a hotel premises. The best part is that the channel and production house will bring in popular actors playing central roles in their episodic stories.
Reports of Deven Bhojani, Pratyusha Banerjee being roped in for interesting episodic roles have already made headlines.
We now hear of talented actor Karan V Grover playing a different and never-done-before role in Gulmohar Grand.
The news coming in is that Karan who is mostly known for his chocolate boy image in TV, with his lead roles in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed will play the role of a terrorizing serial killer in Gulmohar Grand.
As per a reliable source, “Karan will play a character who will hate the entire racket of prostitution. He will hire call girls on the pretext of bedding them, and will eventually end up killing them.”
Karan will sport his present long-hair look in the episode.
When contacted, Karan told us, “Yes, it was a very different role. And it was great working with Sunshine Productions. I enjoyed every moment of shoot. Such episodic roles give actors a real high, as we get to portray a different role in just 2-3 days of shoot.”
The episode featuring Karan will go on air next weekend.
