Junooniyatt Serial Update: Vishwas Saraf, who plays the role of Karan in it, is happy that the viewers are enjoying the show.
Junooniyatt is all set to complete three months and the team is looking forward to celebrating the journey. The show, a romantic musical drama, is being produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s Dreamiyata Production. Actor Vishwas Saraf, who plays the role of Karan in it, is happy that the viewers are enjoying the show.
“I feel happy and blessed to be a part of such a creative show, I wish this happiness to remain constant for many years to come. The love and acceptance by the audience is a big encouragement for me as an actor and for the entire team behind the show. I’m sure we will get more and more love from our viewers who connect to our characters in the show,” he says.
Junooniyatt Serial Update: People enjoy Vishwas’ social media reels. It’s been really appreciated how he gets along with his co-stars.
“Making reels with your co-stars shows the off-screen bond we share with each other. At the end of the day it’s teamwork, and such reels give a strong and positive message to the audience. I’II will soon be shooting reels with my off-screen crew as well because their contribution to the show should also not be ignored. They are always a great support,” he adds.
It’s a general opinion that with the rise in streaming platforms and digital content, the Indian television industry is evolving and adapting as well. Vishwas feels television has huge potential.
“TV industry is going to become even stronger, no new platform can affect it. Tv industry is a family-oriented platform whereas OTT is a personal viewing platform. The content and the treatment on OTT platforms are different as compared to TV. So nothing can adversely affect the reach of TV. It’s already a part of Indian families without which they cannot spend their day,” he says.
About how he connects with his audience as an actor, Vishwas shares, “I portray my character creatively and try to live the character up to the expectations of the audience. I try to grasp the writer’s perspective of the character and act as per the directions of the director. Although it’s difficult to satisfy all three, I try my best. Since I feel a little nervous every time when they say ‘action’ and I think such nervousness should always remain as that keeps you focused and connected. Being a performer since childhood, I don’t have much stage fear. I want to create something new with every character and I hope my audience takes away good and relatable things from the parts I portray.”
The actor says that it is a great feeling when his character is capable of keeping the audience engrossed. “It is the reward of my hard work which keeps me motivated. The best part of being an actor is that we get an opportunity to live many characters in one life. It’s joyful to feel the love, pain and excitement of every character which is different from the other,” he adds.
Is there anything that you would like to change about your work, given a choice? “I am thankful and grateful to the opportunity given to me by Dreamiyata and Colors TV. The only change I wish would be to play a romantic lead character in the near future in a TV show. I feel happy to share that I am already signed as a lead for a family-oriented feature film that has Kashmir as its backdrop,” he reveals
