Zee5’s upcoming web-series Ishq Aaj Kal starring Ankitta Sharma and Angad Hasija in the lead roles has been making it to the headlines ever since the news of this project broke out. This series is a spin-off of Zee TV’s popular romantic drama, Ishq Subhan Allah that features actors Eisha Singh and Adnan Khan in the lead roles. Produced by Dhiraj Kumar, the show is a love story binded with mystery and thriller. Sometime back the first look of the series was uploaded by Zee5, here’s a quick take on what we found intriguing in the teaser:

The teaser starts off with little Alia playing with her father Imran Jaffrey who is later arrested by the police. Then the teaser shifts to a grown-up Alia who is on an expedition to find the truth about her father’s case. It was alleged that her father killed her mother and hence she is in search of her answers.

The glimpse of Angad Hasija indicates his strong character in the series. Bigg Boss fame Roshmi Banik’s short glimpse shows her character’s care-free nature. Ankitta Sharma is looking promising as Alia.

Adnan Khan’s appearance as Kabir talking to Alia added a cherry on the cake.

Ishq Aaj Kal, a Zee5 original also features Paras Kalnawat, Kavita Ghai, Anandita and Rajesh Khera in pivotal roles. The series will stream from the 4th of July on Zee5.
